Chiloé

Good day everyone, I like to share my experience in this wonderful place, that I was fortunate enough to know in depth, because I lived, for many years, in this area. On vacation I visit (again) the island, this time I went with my father, who is an expert in the road of Chile and he show me a little more about Chiloe everytime that we can go.
The entrance to this travel is magical since the beginning, when we cross the Canal de Chacao in a ferry, and I can't to describe that sensation, but is an unique experience, that I recommend to all of you. When we arrived in the island, we can the opportunity to visit , very fast, the town of Ancud, situated to the north of Chiloé. This Island have many patrimonial monuments like the ancient churchs, is very exciting to can explore in this local history. We come back to the road, the next town to visit is Castro, there we could to enjoy a traditional fest, where there are a few demostrations of their customs, like roast lamb or threshing, and more, the food, handicrafts and traditional performances created by local artists (dances, comedy performances), that it's a very pleasant experience; to finish, I can to say that this travel it's, in general, a nice chance to know our country, especially this distant area, and I demand you to experiment that feeling that I describe you, this sensation that I want to expand in everywhere.
