Imagination & Knowledge

Hello to everyone!
I almost forget this homework and I don´t know why.  I liked the talk of Sir Ken Robinson, I think you too.
When I started to listen to the talk, I remembered a sentence of Albert Einstein that I heard a few years ago: “Imagination is more important than knowledge”. I thought in that moment, that a man like him doesn’t would say something like that, because it's contradictory; but I meditated about this words and I realized about his logic to say this, because knowledge entails imagination and Einstein knows this perfectly.
This is the same thing that Ken Robinson wants to transmit in his talk. He says “Creativity now is as important as literacy (same status)” and he’s right.
When he says us that the education system was created by dispositions that impose since industrialization, I can't avoid thinking that my career choice was influenced with this thing, too; because almost all see more our work field (after leave the university) than our talents. This cuts our wings.
This becomes in an ability dictatorship, because to the system aren’t care about look for integral persons, but look for a monochromatic talent, just a side of our abilities. This is proved with subject hierarchy that Ken Robinson talks.
They put in our heads that be original is less important than be methodical, because is very important to the system not be wrong. But, like Ken Robinson says us “If you aren't prepare to be wrong, you never come up with anything original”, and again he’s right.
When we are children, born to be everything and we have all the abilities, but the world is in charge to remove us part of these talents. We should realize of these gifts and use well. Also, we don't to discriminate between those aptitudes, because our jobs should be a symbiosis of all our talents.  After all, we are made to create.

That is all,
Take care all of you!

Eccentric Serbian

Hello people!
Today I’m going to talk about a fascinating man, that I like very much. This man is Emir Kusturica, maybe you know him, too.
This serbian film director and musician, was born on a difficult environment by problems in his country (today Bosnia-Herzegovina). This is one of the themes that he expresses in his music and films.
His essential work is reflected in the movies, but he also finds a liking for music, as a result of his contact with The No Smoking Orchestra.
He started with film business when he had 24 years old; his début was in the Yugoslavian television.

His first work was “Do you remember Dolly Bell?” which won a prize in the Venice film festival.  Since here, he obtained his prestige on indie film with his particular style. All this enveloped in the gypsy sounds of The No Smoking Orchestra.
As a films lover, I could say that his work is very important to me; his movies are part of my collection. I didn’t watch all his movies, but I could comment some of the most popular movies of this man and movies that I like more.
The first movie that I saw was “Black cat, white cat”, this film is about marginal life, but always saves the hilarious touches of the director. It’s about  two criminals who meet again, after many years. It’s a really good movie that I recommend you.
Another movie is “Underground”. It’s about second war and conflict in Yugoslavia. Here, Emir critizes, somehow, to his own country and let see something about his political side.  Even when the movie is part of the director’s imagination, the symbolisms are close to the reality. That’s why this film is more controversial.
The last movie that I saw was “Life is a miracle”. This film is about hope and optimism, even if the weirdest and worst destination is harder every day.  This film shows the soft side of this great director. I liked it a lot.
That's why I love Emir!
Well, that is all today, I see you in the next post, take care!

Into the web

Hello everyone, how goes the week? I hope that you're ok!

Today, I would like to share few websites that I visit often. First that everything, I like to sail on the net, because it´s fun and I can find valuable things. To start, I have to say that as a music consumer, it´s not easy to find all the music that I would like to have, unless I buy the records, but in Chile with the taxes to the music and arts in general, it´s more difficult and expensive. It seems a fortune for elite.
That´s why I have to look for other ways to obtain complete discs. Here, I recommend you, a website of varied music: http://compartirnoesdelito.blogspot.com/.
Recently, this website has some problems about the law of piracy and authorship, that´s why some links are not available, but you can to find really good music. To show you these links, obviously I disagree with the prices of the arts, it´s unfair for us.
Another website of music is: http://rockchilenos.blogspot.com/, but it´s just Chilean music.

On the other hand, I like to visit news websites, but news since another point of view, sometimes more social and political. I visit a page that recovers some news, that the media don’t pay attention, like student problems and other: http://trincheradelaimagen.blogspot.com/
Most part of the time, I look for uncommon web pages, original pieces into the net. I found a kitchen page that is very fun, because show video clips that make me laugh. I’m not close to the kitchen, but if I watch one of these videos, I could try with one of these recepies. Here, let you with this: http://www.recetarioclip.cl/lunes-tallarines-con-salsa-bolonesa-de-pavo/
I also enjoy with classic pages: facebook and messenger, but I suppose that in Internet there is a world of possibilities, just we have to use it well.
I see you in the next post!
